Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge made very controversial remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi. In a press conference in Chennai, Kharge called PM Modi a terrorist. Mallikarjun Kharge held a press conference with Congress General Secretary KC Venugopal in Chennai. He accused PM Modi of suppressing the voice of the opposition by misusing central agencies and government machinery. When asked about his statement calling PM Modi a terrorist, Kharge said, ‘I meant that PM Modi is threatening people and political parties. I never said he is a terrorist (in the literal sense).
