Recently, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli were spotted in Vrindavan; they actually decided not to be in public and went for a humble and simple kind of outing. They visited Premanand Ji Maharaj at Keli Kunj Ashram to receive blessings from the spiritual master, where they also had the opportunity to pray together with other devotees and participate in a spiritual session.
Not only was it the occasion that the pictures of their visit went viral on the net, but also the very fact of how simply they dressed themselves. For the ones wearing Tulsi garlands and the tilak marks, their appearances looked so peaceful and pious, almost in agreement with the ambience of the ashram, a place for calm and devotion. It was quite evident that the emphasis was being put on the trip rather than on the fame.
Decoding Anushka Sharma’s Outfit For Premanand Ji Maharaj’s VisitAnushka decided on a white kurta set from Eka for the occasion, another one of her favourite labels that she often picks for its subtle, handcrafted pieces. The Hardy set that consists of a kurta and trousers is priced at 25,500. Along with a cotton dupatta worth 8, 800, she completed the look priced at 34,300.

The outfit was simple yet never boring. The kurta had a straight cut with a Mandarin-style collar and a front slit that gave it a sharp outline. It was adorned with floral embroidery in soft, muted colours, along with fine binding on the placket and hem. A scalloped lace edge served as the finishing touch, one that was so delicate as to add a subtle hint of detail but not overpower the overall look.
The trousers were similarly understated, just straight-legged with a slightly cropped hem. A narrow strip of colour down the sides provided just enough of a contrast to break the monotony of the white base.
More Details On Anushka Sharma’s OutfitAnushka’s styling reflected the mood of the visit. She casually threw the dupatta around her shoulders, and at times during the darshan, she even covered her head. The dupatta itself had an art-inspired print with blue highlights, which subtly visually enhanced the outfit.
Her beauty decisions were just as minimal. The centre-parted hair was left loose in gentle waves, and the face makeup was left very natural and fresh-looking, with dewy skin, bumped-up brows, just a little bit of mascara, and a naturally pink lip. The total look was neat but not too done up, which was very much the spirit of the quiet visit.
Virat Kohli’s Relaxed LookVirat chose a laid-back style, matching a purple crew-neck sweatshirt with white linen pants. The outfit was so simple and comfortable that it only needed round glasses, a well-trimmed beard, and the famous hairstyle of a man with his hair combed back to complete it.
Anushka Sharma’s WorkfrontOn the work front, Anushka has not acted for quite a few years. Her latest film was Zero, in which she starred with Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. After that, she shifted her focus mainly to film production and was involved in films like Bulbbul and Qala.
