Bike riding youths spread terror by waving swords on the Jaipur-Delhi highway. After the social media video, the police took action and arrested 7 accused. The search is on for the remaining accused.

Jaipur: A dangerous and sensational incident came to light in Rajasthan’s capital Jaipur on Sunday night. In the Galata Gate area, about 40-50 youths riding on more than 20 bikes took out a convoy on the Jaipur-Delhi highway and created a ruckus. During this, the youth spread terror among the passers-by by openly waving swords.

This incident is said to have happened around 10:15 pm, after the video of which went viral on social media, the police swung into action.

Spread terror by waving swords on moving bike

According to eyewitnesses, the youth riding the bike were not only ignoring the traffic rules while moving at high speed on the highway, but were also doing dangerous stunts by waving swords in their hands.

During this time, an atmosphere of fear was created among many passers-by and local people. Some people made a video of this entire incident and shared it on social media, after which the matter quickly came into limelight.

It can be clearly seen in the viral video that a large number of youths are going in a convoy on bikes. Many youths had swords in their hands, which they were waving in the air.

Police took prompt action, 7 accused arrested

Seeing the seriousness of the matter, Galata Gate police station took immediate action and arrested 7 accused by Monday night.

The arrested accused were identified as follows –

    • Farhan (24), Thathar Colony Amer

 

    • Asghar Ali (33), Prabhat Colony Galata Gate

 

    • Mohammad Azim (32), Rahman Colony Galata Gate

 

    • Ajruddin alias Ajju (28), Idgah Kachchi Basti Galata Gate.

 

    • Salim Qureshi (35), Gulzar Colony Padamandi Galata Gate

 

    • Tausif Khan (26), MD Road Lalkothi

 

    • Jishan Khan (20), Syed Colony Galata Gate

 

According to the police, other absconding accused are being identified and efforts are being made to arrest them.

Open violation of traffic rules on the highway
