Even after a year, nothing has changed for the family of N Ramachandran, one of the 26 tourists killed in the Pahalgam terror attack, who are still unable to get over the shock of his untimely death. Ramachandran (65) was holidaying in Kashmir with his wife, daughter and grandchildren. During this the terrorists shot him dead. This attack spread a wave of shock across the country, after which India started Operation Sindoor and terrorist hideouts in Pakistan were targeted.
Aarti R Menon’s father Ramachandran was murdered before her eyes. He said that he has nothing left to say about this incident.
What else can I say, he told news agency PTI. I don’t want to say anything else. A year has passed, everything is the same. Therefore, I do not want to comment anything on this. Right now I am not in a position to say anything. I am very sorry.
Menon said the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) would organize a function near Changampuzha Park around 7:30 am on Wednesday. He said, “There will be a memorial program at Changampuzha Park at 10 am on Sunday.
Menon also said that she would be returning to Dubai soon. She told that she has been coming and going to Kochi for the last one year and now like before, she is returning to Dubai permanently.
Ramachandran was among the 26 people who were shot dead by terrorists in Baisaran Valley in Pahalgam on April 22, 2025. Menon, who works in Dubai, had come to Kerala with her parents and children to spend holidays in Kashmir.
