A big news to Bihar politics has come to light. Bihar government minister Shravan Kumar has been elected the leader of JDU legislative party in Bihar Assembly. Formal notification of his name has also been issued. The party had sent his name to the Assembly as the leader of the JDU Legislative Party. Let us tell you, former Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar himself has taken this decision. Let us tell you, the party had recently authorized Nitish Kumar to elect the leader of JDU legislature party.
It is said that Shravan Kumar is very close to Nitish Kumar. He has handled the responsibilities of many important ministries in the previous government. JDU leader and Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar has congratulated Shravan Kumar for becoming the leader of JDU legislature party.
Benefit of long political experience
Shravan Kumar has long political experience. He has been continuously elected MLA from Nalanda assembly constituency since 1995. This experience of his is being considered as a strong base for the party. Shravan Kumar has been elected MLA eight times so far. He has also become a minister in Nitish cabinet for the seventh time. Shravan Kumar currently holds the charge of Rural Development Ministry, Transport Ministry, Social Welfare Ministry and Food Ministry. Before this, he had also handled the responsibility of Parliamentary Affairs Ministry. He has also been in-charge of JDU’s Uttar Pradesh.

Nitish Kumar’s security increased even before increasing responsibility
The special thing is that recently the government has also increased the security of Shravan Kumar, he has also been provided Y+ category security. Along with this, he has also been given escort facility. There are 11 security personnel under Y+ category security, out of which five-six are commandos and the rest are police personnel. Along with Shravan Kumar, the government has provided Z category security to Nitish Kumar’s son Nishant Kumar.
