Basaran: 'Mini Switzerland' became a bloody valley
On April 22, when the breaking news like 5 injured was broadcast on TV channels, initially it seemed like a small incident, but soon it turned into a major terrorist attack. This terrorist attack that took place in the Baisarn Valley, known as the 'Mini Switzerland' of India, was very scary.

Pakistan-backed terrorists came out of the dense forests and started firing indiscriminately at the tourists with automatic weapons. The ground of Baisaran was surrounded by a 7 feet high fence on all sides and there were only two gates for going in and out. The attack started near the entry gate and there was no security personnel present there at that time.
Eyewitness story: Men were targeted
Survivors of this terrorist attack said that three terrorists separated the men from the women and children. Then they shot them from very close range and ran away towards the forest. The terrorists were asking people about their religion and as soon as they said Hindu, they were shooting them.
