Hyderabad: India's star cricketer Abhishek Sharma has scored another explosive century. With this, he has equaled Virat Kohli in the list of Indian players who have scored most centuries in T20. Both have now registered 9 centuries each.
While playing for Sunrisers in the IPL match against Delhi Capitals on Tuesday, Abhishek played an unbeaten inning of 135 runs on 68 balls. During this, he hit 10 fours and 10 sixes. This is the 5th highest individual score by any player in IPL history. The record is still in the name of Chris Gayle, who scored unbeaten 175 for RCB against Pune in Bengaluru in 2013. Abhishek's previous best score was 141 runs, which he made against Punjab last year. This is the third highest score of IPL.

With this century, Abhishek has jointly reached fourth place in the list of people who have scored most centuries in T20 cricket. Chris Gayle is on top with 22 centuries. He is followed by Babar Azam (12) and David Warner (10). Quinton de Kock, Virat Kohli, Riley Rousseau, Sahibzada Farhan and now Abhishek Sharma, all of them have 9 centuries each. Talking about IPL, Abhishek has 2 centuries and Virat has 8 centuries.
Abhishek Sharma's 350 sixes in T20
Abhishek Sharma has also crossed the milestone of hitting 350 sixes in T20 cricket. He has become the sixth batsman from India and 44th in the world to do so. Among Indians, Rohit Sharma (555), Virat Kohli (443), Suryakumar Yadav (423), Sanju Samson (405) and Dhoni (350) are included in this list. The record for most sixes in the world is in the name of Chris Gayle (1056).
10+ sixes in an innings for the 5th time
Abhishek has now come second in terms of hitting more than 10 sixes in an innings in T20 cricket. He has done this feat for the 5th time. Chris Gayle is on top in this list with 18 innings. Shreyas Iyer and Evin Lewis have done this 4-4 times.
Score of 130+ for the fourth time
Abhishek has scored more than 130 runs for the fourth time in T20 cricket, which is a record. Chris Gayle and Aaron Finch have achieved this feat 3-3 times.
