**What are the Application Eligibility Criteria?**
For this recruitment, it is mandatory for candidates to possess a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institution. Candidates belonging to the General category must have secured a minimum of 55% marks, while a minimum of 45% marks is prescribed for SC/ST and Differently-abled candidates. Furthermore, candidates must hold a valid degree certificate by the final date of application submission.

Regarding the age limit, candidates belonging to the General category must be between 18 and 28 years of age. Meanwhile, candidates from reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC, etc.) will be granted age relaxation in accordance with government regulations.

**How will the Selection Process be Conducted?**
In the Jammu & Kashmir Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026, the selection of candidates will be primarily based on an Online Written Examination (CBT). This examination is of an objective type and covers subjects such as Professional Knowledge, Reasoning Ability, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Awareness. A preliminary merit list will be prepared solely based on the candidates' performance in this examination.

Subsequently, candidates are required to appear for a Local Language Proficiency Test, which is of a qualifying nature only. This stage assesses knowledge of local languages such as Urdu, Kashmiri, Dogri, or Hindi. Finally, Document Verification is conducted. The final merit list is prepared based on the scores obtained in the CBT (Computer-Based Test), provided that the candidate successfully clears both the language proficiency test and the document verification process.

**Salary Details**
Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend of ₹13,500. Of this amount, ₹9,000 will be contributed by the bank, while ₹4,500 will be disbursed by the government via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). The bank's contribution is capped at a maximum of ₹9,000.

Additionally, trainees may be eligible to receive a conveyance allowance of up to ₹1,250 per month. Please note that they will not be entitled to any other allowances or perks. The government's contribution of ₹4,500 will be granted exclusively to candidates who are under the age of 35 and whose selection was processed through the official Apprenticeship Portal.
