There have been 31 matches so far in the Indian Premier League 2026 (IPL 2026). This season, while the uncapped players have attracted everyone’s attention by showing tremendous performance, the expensive foreign players have looked like a complete flop. The teams had high expectations from these players but they could not live up to them. Not only this, there are two names in the list of top-5 most expensive foreign players, whose team is struggling to win matches so far this season.

During the mini auction, franchises had tried to increase their strength by betting on foreign all-rounders and explosive batsmen, but this strategy seems to be backfiring this time.
