New Delhi: A massive fire broke out on Wednesday morning at a shoe factory in Delhi’s Narela area, triggering panic in the locality.
The incident occurred around 7:45 AM in the Bhorgarh Industrial Area, according to officials.
Thick plumes of black smoke were seen billowing from the factory premises as firefighters battled the flames.

According to reports, initially, around 15 fire tenders were deployed to control the blaze. However, as the fire intensified, the number was increased to 24 units.
They are currently working to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading to nearby structures.
Further, no casualties have been reported so far at the time of writing this report, and officials are closely monitoring the situation.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.
