Why Did Ranveer Singh Exit From Don 3?

The Ranveer Singh Don 3 exit stemmed from the actor’s dissatisfaction with the script; he saw the absence of a bound script and concerns over the overall management of the project. Excel Entertainment, on the other hand, had reportedly sought Rs 40 crore in compensation. They cited pre-production costs and scheduling disruptions that had been carried out with the actor’s prior approval. As the standoff escalated, the Producers Guild of India reportedly stepped in to mediate between the two sides.

Separately, reports had also surfaced suggesting that Aamir Khan had played a mediating role in the dispute, but those claims were quickly denied. As per a report by Bollywood Hungama, Aamir Khan flatly denied having any involvement in the Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar dispute. Meanwhile, Don 3 itself remains in a state of uncertainty, with conflicting reports suggesting that Farhan Akhtar may even consider stepping into the lead role himself. For now, the franchise’s future remains an open question, but the Ranveer Singh Don 3 exit dispute seems to be getting resolved now.
