New Delhi: Television actor Parth Samthaan has taken a temporary break from social media after he faced massive trolling online, including personal attacks on his family and him. The actor did not reveal the reason behind the trolling but stated that the entire situation deeply affected him.
Parth Samthaan takes break from social media
The actor took to his Instagram Stories to announce his break from social media and expressed his disappointment over fake and bot accounts for online trolling and negative comments.
In his note on social media, Parth stated, “I have always been a peaceful and positive guy, focusing on the good but recently, I have noticed someone buying bot accounts and have been commenting rubbish on my family, me and my personal life through those fake accounts, shocking, extremely hurtful. I am fuming with anger.
Without taking names, he said, “I know the person behind all this but its pointless to take names.” He further added, “I have decided to take a break from social media for some time. I can’t drain more energy on complaining to the cybercrime department. I would rather focus on my life and my role as Mahid.”
