The concept of what happens after death remains a topic of intense debate, with various beliefs held by different individuals. Despite the lack of concrete evidence, we introduce you to a man who claims to have witnessed the afterlife. This individual, who was clinically dead for 20 minutes, shared his extraordinary experience in an interview, detailing where he went and what transpired during that time.
Scott Drummond, now 60, experienced a life-altering accident at the age of 28, resulting in a severe thumb injury that required surgery. During this procedure, he was declared dead, only to revive 20 minutes later. Recounting his experience, Scott mentioned that he could see a nurse in the operating room, who was distressed and exclaiming, 'I killed him.'
He described a sensation during the operation as if something was entering his hands and heart. He could visualize every stitch being placed on his thumb and sensed the presence of another being beside him, whom he believed to be God. The nurse, thinking he was lifeless, left the operating room in tears. Suddenly, he found himself transported to a beautiful field filled with flowers and lush green grass.
Scott recalled not looking back, possibly due to an unspoken command to keep moving forward. He arrived at a field where the divine presence stood next to him, though he could not see it. Towering trees were on his left, while vibrant wildflowers adorned the landscape.
He noted that apart from himself and the being guiding him, there was no one else around. White clouds began to drift past him. In a surreal moment, he experienced a life review, witnessing a video of his life from birth to death, reflecting on both his good and bad deeds. It felt as though he was being judged for his actions.
Then, his guide communicated telepathically, urging him to rise and walk on the clouds. At that moment, a strong hand formed from the clouds reached out to him, stating that his time had not yet come and that he still had work to do. As the hand withdrew, he found himself back in his body.
Scott expressed his reluctance to leave that serene and beautiful place. Upon regaining consciousness, he was astonished to learn that he had been dead for 20 minutes.
