The youngster Vaibhab Soorayavanshi has created the record of being the fastest batter in the Indian Premier League to score 500 runs. He achieved the runs in just 227 balls. Sooryavanshi achieved the record on April 22 in the match between the Rajasthan Royals and the Lucknow Super Giants at the Ekana Stadium. With this, he surpassed Glenn Maxwell, who scored his 500 IPL runs in 260 balls.

Mohsin Khan comes back against RR

Notably, Sooryavanshi has been Mohsin's first wicket since his comeback to the side. Moshin has been struggling to make a comeback to competitive cricket. In 2023 he missed a major portion of the IPL due to a rare are aneurysm (blood clot) in the axillary artery of his bowling shoulder. Doctors warned him of the possibility of amputation, requiring immediate surgery.

He however, started practicing, and was even in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2024, where he suffered an ACL tear in his right knee. He missed the 2025 IPL totally. And now, he missed the first few matches for LSG. Today against RR, LSG brought in Mohsin back, along with another star bowler of their side, Mayank Yadav
