Incident Overview

Alwar News: A tragic incident has unfolded in Delhi's Amar Colony where the daughter of an IRS officer was reportedly strangled to death using a mobile charger cable. The prime suspect in this case is Rahul, a former employee of the IRS officer, who hails from Kundrauli village in Alwar district, Rajasthan. Just hours before the murder, Rahul allegedly committed a sexual assault on a woman living nearby in his village before fleeing to Delhi.

Police Investigation Underway

Following the assault, the victim filed a written complaint with the police, prompting the Alwar police to register an FIR against Rahul under relevant sections for sexual assault. In response, four teams from the Delhi police have arrived in Alwar to apprehend him. Both the Delhi and Alwar police have detained Rahul's father, friends, and several others for questioning as part of their investigation.

Details of the Assault

The Delhi police teams are actively collaborating with Alwar police, conducting raids at various locations. Reports indicate that Rahul had previously been in contact with the woman he assaulted. The victim informed her family about the incident, leading them to file a formal complaint with the Rajgarh police, who have since initiated an investigation and conducted a medical examination of the victim.

Connection with the Victim's Family

Interestingly, Rahul had been playing online Ludo with the victim's husband, which established a connection between them. It is alleged that when the victim's family attended a wedding, Rahul took the opportunity to enter their home and commit the assault. Currently, both Alwar and Delhi police are working together to connect the dots between the two cases and are striving to apprehend the suspect swiftly.

CCTV Evidence

CCTV footage has revealed that Rahul was seen around 6 AM on the day of the murder, raising suspicions against him. He had been employed at the IRS officer's residence for eight months but was dismissed two months prior due to financial discrepancies involving household items. According to police, the murder occurred between 6:30 and 7:30 AM.
