The registration process for JEE Advanced 2026 has begun on April 23 at 10 am, as per the official website. The examination will be conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee. Eligible candidates can apply online through jeeadv.ac.in until May 2, 2026.

Candidates should have been born on or after October 1, 2001, with a five year relaxation for SC, ST, and PwD categories. They can attempt the exam a maximum of two times in two consecutive years.
Applicants must have appeared for their Class 12 or equivalent examination for the first time in 2025 or 2026 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Those already admitted to any IIT under programmes listed in the Joint Seat Allocation Authority Business Rules 2025 are not eligible.
It will include details such as the candidate’s name, roll number, JEE Main application number, photograph, date of birth, category, and signature. Candidates are advised to verify all details and report any discrepancies to the respective zonal IIT authorities.
Each paper will have three sections covering Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Both papers will be available in English and Hindi and will have a duration of three hours. PwD candidates opting for compensatory time will be given four hours.
The test will consist of a single paper of three hours, with PwD candidates receiving an additional one hour. It will be conducted only in English and no separate admit card will be issued. Registration for AAT 2026 will begin on June 1, 2026, at 10 am.

The application fee is non refundable and set at Rs 3,200 for general category candidates and Rs 1,600 for female, SC, ST, and PwD candidates. Candidates who qualify in JEE Advanced 2026 will be eligible to apply for the Architecture Aptitude Test 2026 for admission to Bachelor of Architecture programmes at IIT BHU Varanasi, IIT Kharagpur, and IIT Roorkee.The test will consist of a single paper of three hours, with PwD candidates receiving an additional one hour. It will be conducted only in English and no separate admit card will be issued. Registration for AAT 2026 will begin on June 1, 2026, at 10 am.
