The politics of the state has heated up after FIR was registered against three Congress workers for pasting posters and sloganeering in BJP district office in Shivpuri. On this development, State Congress President Jitu Patwari has raised questions on the BJP government and the local administration and said that this proves the fear and panic of the BJP.
He said, “This is a cowardly attempt to suppress the voice by being afraid of questions. But BJP is forgetting that these are Rahul Gandhi’s fierce lions and are not afraid of FIR.” The Congress leader said that the party stands strongly with each of its workers.

Around 11 am on Wednesday, some people reached the BJP district office premises and allegedly entered without permission. It is alleged that they pasted posters writing objectionable and misleading things against the party and raised slogans in the office premises. BJP District Vice President Raghavendra Singh Jat has said in the complaint lodged with the police that Paritosh alias Banji Rathod, Amit Soni and Ashish Sen were involved during this time. According to the complaint, when an attempt was made to stop them, the dispute escalated and a situation of abuse also took place. On the basis of their complaint, the Kotwali police have registered a case against the three named accused and started investigation.

Congress State President Jitu Patwari gave a sharp reaction on this matter and said that BJP is trying to suppress the democratic opposition. He said that by making such a big deal out of a simple incident like pasting posters at the BJP office and registering an FIR against the Congress workers, it clearly shows that the BJP is scared and nervous about the questions. The Congress leader said that there is a place for protest and disagreement in a democracy, but at present efforts are being made to give a criminal color to every voice of protest. Along with this, he has said that Congress has stood strongly with each of its workers and will support them in every situation.
