The Royal Family have marked Prince Louis's eighth birthday today with the release of a new picture of the young royal. The sweet snap, taken earlier this month on a family holiday in Cornwall by Matt Porteous, shows Louis smiling at the camera with his arms crossed.
The Prince and Princess of Wales's third child, and second-born son, joined the family on this day in 2018. After the latest picture was shared on the Royal Family's social media platforms, fans began discussing in the comments how much Louis resembled his big brother, 12-year-old Prince George.
One fan took to their Instagram post and commented: "For a moment I thought it was George!! [heart-eyed emoji]."
Royal fans began sharing how much they agreed with the original comment, which, at the time of writing, has gained 243 likes.
Another commented: "I can see why."
A third added: "I did to. Can't believe how alike they are x"
A fourth, also in agreement, shared how Louis is a mix of both of his siblings. They wrote: "I feel Louis has half and half looks of both George and Charlotte."
Prince Louis and his siblings returned to school after his Easter holidays on Wednesday, with the start of the summer term now in full swing.
The young royal has been known for his cheeky yet endearing personality, with him often seen displaying his cheeky side during royal engagements.
The last time that Louis was seen publicly was earlier this month at the Easter Sunday service in Windsor.
