Uncapped Indian Pacers Who Impressed Early in IPL 2026

Prince Yadav - Lucknow Super Giants

Among all young fast bowlers, Prince Yadav has definitely one of the most impressive ones. The right-arm fast bowler has played 7 matches this season and has picked up as many as 13 wickets to his name. Though he has bagged a three-wicket haul against RCB in Bengaluru, his standount performance came against Punjab Kings at Mullanpur. In a run-fest, where every bowler conceded runs at an economy of over 10, Prince ended his spell of 4 overs with 2/25. This shows his ability to bowl according to the situation.

Prince has an economy of 8.38 and has an outstanding average of 16.76 which make him one of the economical bowlers for Lucknow. He has maintained his lines and lengths and controlled his lines against big hitters.

Anshul Kamboj - Chennai Super Kings

Anshul Kamboj has been a strong candidate in the bowling all-rounder list for CSK. He has played 6 matches and has picked up 13 wickets this season which means he is right on top of the list of best wicket takers in the uncapped bowlers category.

He has bowled 130 deliveries in these 6 games and has conceded 211 runs at an average of 16.23. His spell of 3/22 against Sunrisers Hyderabad displayed his prowess of bowling against tough opponents.

Kartik Tyagi - Kolkata Knight Riders

Kartik Tyagi has delivered consistent performances for the Kolkata Knight Riders. The right-arm pacer has taken 8 wickets in 7 games with best figures of 3/22 in the season. He has bowled 138 balls and conceded 219 runs at an economy rate of 9.52.

In one of the brilliant performances of the season, he took 3/22 against Rajasthan Royals in Kolkata. His average of 27.37 might be a bit expensive, but he has still managed to give crucial breakthroughs for his team.

Sakib Hussain - Sunrisers Hyderabad

Sakib Hussain had a brilliant start to his IPL career as he picked up 6 wickets in 3 matches. In his very first game against Rajasthan Royals at Hyderabad, he picked 4 wickets giving just 24 runs. He has bowled 72 balls and conceded 85 runs at an economy rate of 7.08.

His average of 14.16 shows his effectiveness at such an early stage of his IPL career. Picking 4 wickets on his debut would certainly have been one of the best moments for him this season. He was equally assisted by another debutant Praful Hinge, but what makes Sakib better is his skill to bowl in every phase of the game. Sakib uses variations to control the run-flow and get crucial wickets. It will be amazing to see how the bowler performs in the next leg of the tournament.

Ashok Sharma - Gujarat Titans

GT pacer Ashok Sharma has been a revelation due to his sheer pace. The young pacer bowls regularly over 150 kmph, adding a deadly pace element to the Gujarat Titans' bowling line-up. He has taken 6 wickets in 6 games with best figures of 2/32.

He has bowled 126 balls and conceded 228 runs, with an economy rate of 10.85. Though his statistics aren't as impressive as some of the others in the list, his sheer pace and control makes him a dangerous bowler.
