There is a huge shortage of LPG cylinders in Karond and Gandhinagar areas of Bhopal for the last one month (MP LPG Crisis). A case has come to light. Due to which common citizens are extremely worried. Political stir is also going on in the state regarding this. Congress raised many questions on the BJP government. He has also been accused of misleading the public by making false claims.

After continuous complaints of LPG shortage from these areas, on Thursday, Congress leader Manoj Shukla himself along with the citizens of the area reached Janvi Gas Agency Suraj Nagar to take stock of the situation and discussed with the agency management to solve the problems of the people.

Long line for cylinder, citizens forced

Shukla says that hundreds of families have been visiting the agency for the last one month for cylinders. Even cooking has become a problem in many homes. The most worrying thing is that on one hand the government is claiming that there is no shortage of gas cylinders. On the other hand, the ground reality is completely opposite to this. People are waiting for the cylinder every day by lining up at Asaram Tiraha, whereas the agency is far away from there in Suraj Nagar Colony on Airport Road. Due to which people are facing problems.

How did the agency respond?

When the Congress leader sought answers from the manager in front of the people present in the agency. So he clearly said that “cylinders are not coming”, which makes the situation look more serious. This statement itself raises questions on the claims of the government. Madhya Pradesh Congress has shared a video to this on social media.

Accusation of negligence on administration

Manoj Shukla said, “This is a direct case of administrative negligence and failure of the supply system. If gas is not being supplied on time, then responsibility should be fixed. An immediate solution should be found.” He further said, “If the common man goes, where should he go? When even the basic needs are not being met, it shows the insensitivity of the government.” Youth Congress President Amit Khatri, Deepak Diwan, Yuvraj Singh Rai, Ashish Ojha, Anoop Pandey etc. were present on this occasion.
