New Delhi: The controversial statement given by Donald Trump regarding India has created a new controversy at the international level. Now Iran has reacted sharply to Trump’s ‘hell’ statement and has advised him to come to India and see the reality.

At the same time, the Democratic Party has also targeted Trump regarding this statement and termed his statement as irresponsible. This entire matter has intensified the debate from social media to political circles.

Iranian Consulate’s taunt: ‘Come and see India sometime’

The Mumbai-based Iranian Consulate shared a 16-second video on social media platform X. In this video, two different aspects of Maharashtra were shown; on one side, Mumbai’s skyscrapers, highways and urban glow, and on the other side, natural scenes full of mountains, waterfalls and greenery.

Through the video, Trump was advised to do ‘cultural detox’. The Consulate wrote in the post, ‘Come to India sometime and see, then speak.’

Democratic Party attack

America’s Democratic Party has also come out openly on Trump’s statement. Party representatives accused Trump of spreading ‘racist garbage’.

One representative wrote on X, ‘Americans are struggling and they are busy spreading racist things on social media. He is running his presidency like a reality TV show. This is a critical time and our country needs better leadership.

Actually, Donald Trump had re-posted a letter on his social media platform ‘Truth Social’. Commenting on immigrants, it was written, ‘A child born here (in America) immediately becomes a citizen. Then they bring their entire families here from China, India or any other hell on earth.

Controversy increased amid Middle East tension

Amidst this statement, tension is continuously increasing in the Middle East. The situation remains tense between Iran, United States and Israel. Meanwhile, India has advised its citizens to leave Iran, which points towards a possible major danger.
