Sai Sudharsan put in an extraordinary batting display in Match 34 of the Indian Premier League 2026 between Gujarat Titans and Royal Challengers Bengaluru at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. With RCB deciding to bowl first, the young left-hander took control of the game and piled up a century in just 57 balls.
This was Sudharsan's third IPL century and the hundred came in a comprehensive and calm fashion. The youngster hit 11 fours and five sixes with a strike rate of 175.44. The batter looked in good form from the very beginning and did not let the bowlers settle at all.
The left-hander added a magnificent partnership of 128 runs with his captain Shubman Gill for the first wicket. The latter scored 32 runs off 24 deliveries before being dismissed by Suyash Sharma. Following his dismissal, Sudharsan continued his impressive innings with support from Jos Buttler, who remained unbeaten at 10.
At 155/1 in 15 overs, the Gujarat Titans were set for a mammoth score as a lot of big hitters were yet to bat.
