Neighboring countries like India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Sri Lanka and Maldives still have the system of paying salary on monthly basis. Economic experts of Nepal believe that such new experiments are necessary in times of recession. If this scheme is successful in the government sector, then it can be implemented in private companies also.
