Heavy Traffic Expected During Match Hours
The day-night fixture, scheduled from 3 pm to 7:30 pm, is anticipated to attract a large number of spectators, leading to significant traffic build-up in surrounding areas.Road Restrictions & Diversions
Traffic diversions and restrictions may be enforced on key routes such as Bahadur Shah Zafar (BSZ) Marg and Jawaharlal Nehru (JLN) Marg between 1 pm and 9 pm, depending on the situation on the ground.Additionally, heavy and commercial vehicles will not be allowed on several stretches, including:
- Daryaganj to Delhi Gate Chowk
- Delhi Gate to Guru Nanak Chowk
- ITO to Delhi Gate
Routes to Avoid
Commuters are advised to steer clear of the following roads to avoid delays:- JLN Marg from Rajghat to Delhi Gate
- Asaf Ali Road from Turkman Gate to Delhi Gate
- BSZ Marg between Delhi Gate and ITO
Stadium Entry Gates & Access Points
Entry to the stadium will be managed gate-wise for smoother crowd movement:- Gates 1 to 8 (South side): Accessible via BSZ Marg
- Gates 10 to 15 (East side): Via JLN Marg near the Ambedkar Stadium bus terminal
- Gates 16 to 18 (West side): Again through BSZ Marg
Parking Restrictions
