Sandeepa Virk is a famous Punjabi actress, entrepreneur and social media influencer. She has been working mainly in Punjabi films and South cinema. But in the year 2025, a big controversy came in the life of Sandeepa Virk. He was arrested in a money laundering case. The roots of this case were in an FIR registered in Mohali, Punjab in 2016. The allegation was that Sandeepa and some other people made a false promise to a family that they would get their daughter a lead role in a film. In return, he cheated them of about Rs 6 crore. This case was investigated by the Enforcement Directorate (ED).

After her arrest, Sandeepa Virk had to spend four months in Tihar jail. This time in jail was very difficult and painful for him. In a podcast, she openly shared her thoughts and said, ‘I used to pray every day that death would come and take me with it. It hurt the most when my parents came to meet me in jail.

The actress further said, ‘I used to apologize to him that because of me he had to suffer so much. My family, my parents and brothers and sisters, stood completely behind me. They knew how I really was. Sandeepa described the jail experience as ‘soul crushing’. She told that before going to jail she also had to get a pregnancy test done, which she found very shameful and humiliating.

At the end of 2025, she got bail and came out of jail. After that Sandeepa started trying to get her life back on track. She launched her own skincare brand, Hybucare, and continued working as a cosmetologist and social media influencer. Also, he openly shared the experiences of his difficult days spent in jail, so that people can understand his story better and his image can be strengthened again.
