Colorful fishes look very beautiful when they swim in the aquarium, but taking care of them is not that easy. People who keep aquariums at home would know very well that sometimes despite best efforts, fishes die quickly. In fact, I had also seen at one of my uncle's houses that when he had initially brought an aquarium, some of the fishes in it would often die every day. Similarly, people start raising fish with great excitement, but within a few days they start dying. In such situations people get worried. Actually it is important for you to find a solution to this. People commit some such mistakes knowingly or unknowingly, due to which the fishes die quickly.
If any pet is being reared at home, it is important to have some information about it in advance. Many times, due to incomplete information, animals and birds reared at home get harmed. Same is the case with fish farming also. You should know some important things about this. So let us know what are the mistakes due to which the fish kept in the home aquarium die quickly.
put fish on day one
In fact, when most people start keeping fish for the first time, they put the fish in the aquarium immediately after filling it with water, whereas this mistake should not be made. It is important to complete the cycle of the aquarium tank. This is a process in which a colony of good bacteria has to be created inside the aquarium so that the poisonous ammonia produced from fish feces and leftover food is naturally converted into nitrate.
Increase good bacteria like this
For this, first setup the tank. Pour chlorine-free water into it, then add gravel or substrate, install the filter, heater and all the necessary decorative items. After this turn on the filter. You have to keep it running 24/7. After this, you have to add a little fish food to the water every day and also add a few drops of safe ammonia. This process takes 6-7 days, because first ammonia increases, then nitrite and lastly nitrate. You should check the level of these three things present in water daily with the testing kit. When nitrite becomes 0ppm and presence of nitrate is visible, add fish to it.

The second mistake is to feed too much.
Many times we feel that the fishes should not remain hungry and due to this people give more food to the fishes. This remaining fodder rots, due to which ammonia increases in the water and the health of the fish starts getting harmed. She may die from this. Fish should be fed only 1-2 times a day for a few minutes.
overfishing
Many times we put many fishes one by one in the aquarium kept at home so that it looks more beautiful, but due to this the fishes do not get enough space and they may get harmed due to stress and suffocation. Make sure that the fishes get good space to swim in the tank.
mistake while changing water
Once you have put the fish in the aquarium, then it is not enough to just feed them, but you have to pay attention to cleanliness. Most of the people make this mistake that they change the entire water and the same process happens again due to which there is a deficiency of nitrate. While cleaning the tank, only 25 percent of the water should be changed every week and other things should be removed like dirt stuck on the plants and clean the leftover food. This maintains the ecosystem balance of the aquarium, which is necessary for the fishes to remain healthy.

Ignoring water parameters
Actually, fishes are very sensitive, if the pH of the tank water changes even a little then the fishes can die soon. Whenever you go to buy fish, get complete information about it from the shop keeper beforehand. You can buy a freshwater master test kit, so that you can keep checking the pH of the water from time to time.
