Under the direction of Superintendent of Police Sonbhadra Abhishek Verma, under the able guidance of Additional Superintendent of Police Headquarters Anil Kumar and Area Officer Obra Amit Kumar, commendable action was taken by the Kon police station in order to effectively curb crime and criminals under the campaign Mission Shakti/Women Empowerment.
In the case to FIR No. 28/26 Section 137 (2), 87 BNS, registered at the police station, Vinay Kumar Viyar, son of Dinesh Viyar, the named accused who lured a minor girl and took her away, resident of Athona police station Shahganj, Sonbhadra district, was arrested and the kidnapper was recovered safely.
The accused has been sent to the court after taking necessary legal action. The team that made the arrest included Inspector in-charge Sanjeev Kumar Singh, Police Station Con, Police Inspector Shivprakash Yadav, Police Station Incharge Chakaria, Police Inspector Firoz Khan, Police Inspector Anju Verma.
