Punjab Kings (PBKS) scripted history by pulling off the highest successful chase in Indian Premier League (IPL) history.

The team chased down a mammoth target of 265 runs set by Delhi Capitals (DC), winning the match by six wickets with seven balls to spare.

The 126-run opening partnership between Priyansh Arya and Prabhsimran Singh was instrumental before Shreyas Iyer joined the party and slammed an unbeaten 71 off 36 balls.

Captain Iyer played a crucial role in the chase. His innings was aggressive yet composed, helping his team stay on track for the record chase.

He was part of a 56-run stand for 4th wicket alongside Nehal Wadhera.

During his stay at the crease, Iyer was dropped twice by Karun Nair.
