To speed up the process of regularization of unauthorized colonies in the capital, MCD is going to organize special camps from Monday. The objective of these camps is to provide assistance to the people living in 1511 unauthorized colonies in applying on the Swagam portal. According to the information, around 700 officers will be deployed in these camps, who will help the residents in explaining the registration process, converting the necessary documents into PDF and providing information about technical details.
Applicants must submit their photograph and PM-UDAY Case ID along with identity proof such as PAN Card or Voter ID. Additionally, the camps will also be provided with advice on architects and layout plans, making the application process more accurate and smooth. To ease the process of regularization of unauthorized colonies of the capital, it has been decided to organize a special camp from Monday. Through these camps, people will be given information about the complete process of applying on the Swagam portal. The process of giving regularization certificates to 1511 unauthorized colonies of Delhi is currently going on. Under this, the Municipal Corporation will organize camps in various zone level offices, where the residents will be explained in detail about the use of the portal, methods of filling applications and necessary procedures.
700 officers and employees will be deployed
According to officials, under this initiative, about 700 officers and employees will be deployed in the camps, who will provide people with the registration process and all the necessary information to it. In these camps, the documents required for application on the Swagam portal, their essentials and the entire process of submission will be explained in detail. According to MCD, people will be given special guidance to upload photos of documents, maintain file size as per prescribed standards and explain technical procedures. Along with this, any kind of information and advice to architects and layout plans can also be obtained from the experts present in the camps, so that the application process can become more smooth and error-free.
These documents are necessary
· Identity proof of the applicant such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID Card or Driving License (self attested), along with recent photograph of the applicant.
· Scanned copies of all required documents must be kept ready in PDF format.
PM-UDAY Case ID: Before applying, it must be ensured that the applicant has a valid PM-UDAY Case ID.
· All documents uploaded on the portal should be within the prescribed file size limit, so that there is no technical hindrance in the application process.
coordination meeting between officials
According to officials, IT and building department officials are holding regular coordination meetings to review the registrations happening every day on the Swagam portal. These two departments will also play an active role in the special camps starting from Monday, so that people do not face any problem in the application process and technical assistance can be provided immediately. Corporation officials said that the priority is to dispose of the applications received on the portal as soon as possible. Along with this, it is also being ensured that regularization certificates are issued within the stipulated time frame, so that people can get relief from the pending processes.
