This is the biggest relief news of the year 2026 for crores of investors sitting with their hard-earned money in Sahara India. Now the Central Government has not only made the refund process easier, but has also increased its limit significantly.

Now those investors can also claim to get their money back, whose claim is up to Rs 10 lakh. Earlier, only small amount claims were being given priority on the portal, but now a ray of hope has arisen for big investors also. If your application was earlier rejected due to some technical glitch or lack of information, now you have a golden opportunity to correct your mistakes and get your money back.

How to get money back

The government has specially started 'Resubmission Portal' for this. It has often been seen that many investors had received the message of 'deficiency', after which they were worried whether they would lose money or not get it. The new portal has been created to solve this dilemma. The best part is that once you reapply correctly, the government has claimed that the payment will be processed within approximately 45 working days. This entire system is running under the supervision of the Supreme Court, so be rest assured about security. The official portal https://mocrefund.crcs.gov.in/ is completely secure and SSL certified.

Claim like this

  • Enter CRN Number: First of all go to the portal and fill your 14 digit Claim Request Number.
  • Captcha Verification: Validate the captcha code shown on the screen by entering it.
  • Aadhaar Linking: The system will recognize the mobile number linked to your Aadhaar. If the information is correct, an OTP will come on your phone.
  • Enter OTP: Enter the OTP received on your mobile on the portal to ensure your identity.
  • Correct errors: Carefully correct any errors that were reported in your old application (such as name spelling, membership number or documentation).
  • Final Submission: After checking all the information, resubmit the form.
  • Status Check: After submission you will get a new receipt number, which will enable you to track your status in future.

Why is this new update necessary?

This update is like a 'Sanjeevani' for those people whose large amount (like between Rs 5 lakh and 10 lakh) was stuck. The government is now ready to process larger claims. Just keep in mind that it is mandatory for your Aadhaar card to be linked to your bank account and mobile number, because the money will come directly through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) to your bank account which is linked to Aadhaar.
