Recently, during a conversation with The Week, when he was asked about the return of Koffee with Karan, Karan Johar smiled and clearly said – “Diwali. Season 9.” After this announcement, tremendous enthusiasm is being seen among the fans.

Season 8 was in controversies
The previous season of the show i.e. Season 8 was aired in the year 2024, which remained in the headlines. Especially the episode featuring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone had created a lot of controversy. Both of them had to face trolling on social media over the revelations made about their relationship.

Apart from this, many big stars were seen in the show, which included Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, Ajay Devgan-Kajol and many others.
