In this series, the police of Lasudia police station of Indore took a major action and tightened its grip on the betting mafias. Taking action, the police also arrested 5 accused. Not only this, 3 mobile phones and 1 car have also been seized from these accused.
What is the whole matter?
Let us tell you that betting was being conducted through Dream/Exchange site by the betting accused under Lasudia police station of Indore. It was reported that some people were running online cricket betting in their cars on the main road near Lamohar Colony. Taking immediate action, the police team laid siege and arrested the accused. According to the information, the number of the car in which the accused were betting has been mentioned as (serial number DL-14-CD-8027).
Were betting on IPL teams
Let us tell you that the accused were betting on the teams playing in IPL through the online platform Dream/Exchange. The police not only recovered 3 mobile phones from the accused but apart from this they also seized betting apps, ID and transaction accounts and a car.
Interrogation of the accused continues
FIR has been registered against the accused who have been arrested by the police. The police also interrogated the accused so that other information could be obtained regarding cricket betting. The accused told during interrogation that two people of their team gave them bank accounts through which money could be transacted, after confirming which the two people were made accused in the case.
Police arrested these 5 accused
The police took prompt action and arrested five accused in the online cricket betting case. The arrested accused are Mohammed Sikandar (Resident: 203, Sahara State New Malhar, Bhojpur Road, Bhopal), Mohammed Sultan (Resident: 203, Sahara State New Malhar, Bhojpur Road, Bhopal), Apoorva (Resident: 202, Jasraj Homes, Harikrishna Vihar Colony, Nipania, Indore), Anurag (Resident: C-55, Avadhpuri, Bhopal) and Karan (Resident: 206, Railway Colony, Nishadpur, Bhopal). Lasudia police station in-charge, Taresh Soni and his team played a commendable role in this entire case, whose promptness and hard work made the arrest of the accused possible. Further action is underway by the police.
