Ingredients

To prepare the dough:

  • Wheat flour – 2 cups
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Water – as per need

For stuffing:

  • Sattu – 1 cup
  • Onion – finely chopped
  • Garlic – 4–5 cloves (chopped)
  • Ginger – 1 inch (grated)
  • Green chilli – 2-3 (finely chopped)
  • Coriander – chopped
  • Lemon juice – 1 tablespoon
  • Celery – ½ tsp
  • Nigella seeds – ½ tsp
  • Mustard oil – 1 teaspoon
  • Salt – as per taste

Method of preparation (Step-by-Step Recipe)

knead the dough
First of all, mix salt and water in wheat flour and knead a soft dough. Keep it covered for 10–15 minutes.

Prepare the Stuffing
Add sattu, onion, garlic, ginger, green chilli, green coriander, lemon juice, celery, nigella seeds and salt in a vessel. Add mustard oil on top and mix well.

Make a ball of dough, roll it lightly, fill it with Sattu stuffing and close it.

Bake
Roll out the paratha and put it on a hot pan. Apply oil or ghee on both sides and fry until golden.
