Match Summary - Yesterday's IPL Match Between DC vs RCB
Delhi Capitals were put to bat in a match that went horribly wrong. DC collapsed against the swing of Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Josh Hazlewood. DC were just 9 for 6 within the powerplay and looked set to concede one of their lowest totals in IPL history. Bhuvneshwar (3 for 5) and Hazlewood (4 for 12) spearheaded the destruction with some amazing swing and pace. The only damage Abishek Porel (30) and David Miller (19) did was adding some quick runs on the board but the match was already over. Delhi Capitals were all out for 75 in 16.3 overs.
Easily chasing 75, the RCB openers and Devdutt Padikkal played knocks which saw them reach the total in just 6.3 overs. Jacob Bethell played a quick-fire cameo of 20, while Devdutt Padikkal blazed his way to 34 off 13 deliveries including 6 boundaries. Virat Kohli ended the chase for RCB with an unbeaten 23 and smashed the winning boundary in the sixth over. The pitch looked completely different in the second innings as both RCB openers and Devdutt Padikkal were not fazed by it, which shows the immense self-belief they possess.
