According to the report, if our carelessness towards carbon emissions and environment continues like this, then urban life will completely change by the year 2050. In the coming decades, billions of people living in cities may have to face such severe and deadly heat that it is difficult to even imagine today.
Heat wave intensity will increase by 700% in cities
A new report by the World Bank has made a shocking claim that the intensity and duration of heat waves in urban areas will increase in the future. Sustainable Cooling: Adopting such technology which does not harm the environment.
Reduction in carbon emissions: Taking rapid steps towards clean energy (Solar & Wind Energy).
If these warnings are not implemented in time, then for future generations the cities will remain only burning structures of concrete.
