Bharat Kapoor was one of the few ‘character artists’ of Hindi cinema who, despite not being a hero, made a place in the hearts of the audience. In his career, he played many serious characters like villain, strict police officer and lawyer. Although he was rarely seen in lead roles, he created his own identity while working with everyone from Amitabh Bachchan to Rishi Kapoor.
