Counting has begun for 192 seats across 48 wards in the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation. BJP candidates have already won two seats unopposed — Vasna and Thaltej wards. The party had fielded 190 candidates while Congress and AAP fielded 185 and 151 respectively. In the 2021 elections, BJP had won 159 seats. Early trends indicate BJP is leading in several wards.
