Delhi-Dehradun Expressway: The journey from Delhi to Dehradun became superfast, CM Dhami thanked Modi government.

Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has recently surprised everyone by traveling from Delhi to Dehradun by road. While returning from Delhi tour, he used the Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor and while sharing his experience he said that now the distance between these two cities has reduced. Expressing happiness, the Chief Minister said that he completed this journey in just two and a half hours, whereas earlier it used to take hours.

Great example of modern connectivity Chief Minister Dhami gave credit for this smooth journey to the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said that Delhi-Dehradun Economic Corridor is a great example of modern infrastructure. Expressing his gratitude to the Prime Minister and the Central Government, the CM said that this is the result of the speed at which the network of roads and transport facilities is being laid in the country today. Now Delhi is no longer far away for hill states like Uttarakhand.

Tourism and investment will gain wings Describing the importance of this corridor, the Chief Minister said that it is not just a road, but a new path for the progress of Uttarakhand. Reduction in travel time will give a huge boost to tourism in the state. Also, it will now become much easier for external investors to reach Uttarakhand and do business here, which will open new doors of employment for the local youth.

Chardham Yatra will become even easier CM Dhami also emphasized that the opening of this corridor will provide great relief to the devotees coming on Chardham Yatra. Access to major religious and tourist destinations of the state is now easier than ever. Terming it as ‘new pace of new India’, he said that such projects are proving to be a milestone in the development of Uttarakhand and the picture of the state will completely change in the coming times.
