Correction: London 'unity' march
Reach Daily Express | April 28, 2026 11:40 PM CST
In an article published on 29 March 2026 with the headline "Furious clash erupts at London 'unity' protest as LGBT man told 'we don't want you here'" we reported that there had been a clash at a London 'unity' protest. We illustrated the article with an image said to be taken from a video of that protest and said that there had been an argument between a Queers for Palestine protestor and a Muslim woman who said, "We are Muslims and you disgust us. You don't belong in our cause". This was incorrect. We understand that the video was actually taken at a demonstration in 2023 in Quebec and that the altercation had not been translated into English correctly. The article was removed on 31 March 2026 and we sincerely apologise for the error.
