Meghan Markle's historic remarks about racism in the Royal Family have come back to haunt the current US state visit of King Charles and Queen Camilla. GB News commentators, royal reporter Kinsey Schofield, and conservative commentator Nile Gardiner called out the "hypocrisy" of some media members in attendance at a UK embassy garden party for Charles and Camilla. As the broadcaster halted for breaking footage of the Monarch greeting guests, the pair opined: "When Harry and Meghan said on Oprah Winfrey and made those ridiculous claims, CNN was 24/7 race-baiting."

Looking at the footage, host Bev Turner explained what was happening as Charles, relaxed and cheerful, met attendees. "We're looking at the pictures here of King Charles talking to Kaitlin Collinshe's a very famous new...ss anchor here, works for CNN," they pointed out." They then highlighted several of the US media figures at the event.

"There's a lot of media figures there today from, actually, all sides of the political spectrum we understand, except GB News and you," she addressed Gardiner.

"I do wonder how many other right-wing think tanks like yourself, the Heritage Foundation, how many of them weren't invited today?

"I think that these kinds of invitation lists are very political," he responded. They're decided in Downing Street or the Foreign Office, and so prominent critics of Keir Starmer are not at the top of the invitation list.

"So that's the reality of these things and those who are seen to have the sharpest pens with regard to the state of Keir Starmer's sinking premiership tend to be the last on these kinds of invitations."

This led Schofield to chime in: "Let's not make any sort of mistake whatsoever. The people at CNN would not hesitate to call the British Royal Family racist and try to manipulate the history of this royal family.

"So what, look at them all drooling. There's Wolf Blitzer in the background, drooling over this family.

"But when Harry and Meghan said on Oprah Winfrey and made those ridiculous claims, CNN was 24/7 race-baiting," she pointed out in a dig at the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

Gardiner agreed: "That's a really excellent point. There's massive hypocrisy, it has to be said, from some of the more liberal elements of the American media."
