Assam AHSEC HS 12th Result 2026: The wait for students in Assam has finally come to an end. The Assam State School Education Board has released the results for the Class 12 (Higher Secondary) examination of 2026. Results for all three streams—Science, Commerce, and Arts—have been declared simultaneously; students can now easily check their results and mark sheets online using their roll numbers. This year, the number of students appearing for the examination was higher compared to the previous year; consequently, all eyes are now fixed on the pass percentage and overall performance.
Results Released at 10:30 AM
The Assam Board declared the Class 12 results today at 10:30 AM. Before this, at 7:30 AM, a press release was issued informing the public that the results would be declared via a press conference. State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu and Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma were also present on this occasion. The results for all three streams were released simultaneously, ensuring that students did not have to wait separately for their respective streams.
How to Check the Results
Students can check their results by visiting the official website. To do so, they must enter their roll numbers. Once the result appears on the screen, students can download their online mark sheets and save them for future reference. Additionally, the facility to check results is also available on several educational portals.
Minimum Marks Required to Pass
To pass this examination, it is mandatory for students to secure a minimum of 33 percent marks. Students who fail to achieve this minimum score will be allowed to appear for a compartment examination, thereby allowing them to save their academic year.
