Prince William and Princess Catherine are no doubt enjoying celebrations today as they mark their 15th wedding anniversary. The Prince and Princess of Wales married in a televised ceremony at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011, and stole the nation's hearts.

Since then, the couple have gone from strength to strength, with their love clear for all to see. They have also had three children together since then - Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Here, the Daily Express have looked at the best seven pictures from Prince William and Princess Catherine's royal wedding...

Princess Catherine wowed on her wedding day as she stepped out outside Westminster Abbey. The princess's dress was designed by Sarah Burton for Alexander McQueen, with Catherine having a big say in the intricate details. The princess looked radiant as she waved to the crowds, a big beam on her face. She was walked down the aisle by her father, Michael Middleton, followed by her sister, Pippa Middleton.

Prince William looked delighted to see his bride, Princess Catherine, after she walked down the aisle at Westminster Abbey 15 years ago. The future King was all smiles and looked ecstatic to see Catherine on their big day. As reported by CBS News, at the altar, William said to his bride, "You look lovely. You look beautiful," according to Tina Lannin, a professional lip reader.

Michael Middleton looked every inch the proud father on the 2011 wedding day. After walking his daughter down the aisle to her now-husband, Michael lifted Catherine's veil and stood as she and William exchanged vows. In one sweet moment, he was seen affectionately fixing his daughter's veil. Before, during and after the ceremony, Michael looked delighted, and was seen affectionately looking at his daughter and William throughout.

Queen Elizabeth II was all smiles as she watched her grandson, Prince William, marry Catherine. It is believed the late Queen was a big fan of William's bride, with the pair having bonded over the years. In a Channel 5 documentary titled: Kate and The Queen: A Special Relationship, The Daily Mail's Richard Kay said in it: "I don't think she (the late Queen) really trusted anyone on first impression, we're all performing the same show, the show is supporting the Queen. But with Kate and the Queen, it grew deeper than that; there was a real grandmotherly affection between the two."

Prince William and Princess Catherine's carriage procession from Westminster Abbey to Buckingham Palace appeared to be a fairytale moment. The newlyweds were met with cheers from thousands of people lining the streets to get a glimpse of the married couple. Both Prince William and Princess Catherine were all smiles during the journey as they waved to the crowds. At one point, William said, according to Tina Lannin, a professional lip reader, "I hope I remember... It's mad, it's mad! Oh my goodness, it ... really loud here...these people are clapping."

Prince William and Princess Catherine looked giddy as they shared kisses on the Buckingham Palace balcony after their wedding and the following carriage procession back to the Palace. The pair kissed once, much to the delight of the crowd, who then chanted for them to kiss again. The couple obliged, laughing and waving to the crowd shortly after.

Another amazing moment from the wedding day was William and Catherine's exit from Buckingham Palace in King Charles' Aston Martin. The rear number plate read ‘JU5T WED', and the then 41-year-old car had been decorated in the traditional newlywed style with a learner plate on the front and multi-coloured streamers tied to the bonnet. The car had been decorated with heart-shaped balloons and balloons with initials of ‘W' for William and 'C' for Catherine. It is believed Prince Harry decorated the car alongside other friends and family members.
