New Delhi: Panic ensued at the Gaur Green Avenue Society, located in Abhay Khand, Indirapuram (Ghaziabad), following the sudden outbreak of a massive fire. The blaze was so fierce that plumes of smoke became visible across the entire locality. News of the incident also triggered immediate activity and concern within administrative circles. Fortunately, there have been no reports of any loss of life so far.

Firefighters and local police are making every possible effort to extinguish the flames; however, getting close to the raging fire is proving to be extremely difficult. Residents have begun evacuating their respective flats and moving to safer locations outside the complex.
CM Yogi Takes Cognizance
Given the severity of the fire, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken cognizance of the incident and issued directives to officials to implement necessary precautionary measures. During this process, CM Yogi categorically stated that negligence of any kind would not be tolerated under any circumstances. He also instructed the Police Commissioner and the District Magistrate of Ghaziabad to reach the site immediately and to continuously monitor the situation.
Eyewitness Accounts
According to eyewitnesses present at the scene of the fire, the blaze was first spotted around 8:00 PM. These individuals stated that the likelihood of anyone being trapped inside the flats is low, as residents had already evacuated by the time the flames reached their units.
So far, eight flats have been affected by the fire. According to the Ghaziabad administration, an inspection of all the flats will be conducted once the fire has been completely extinguished. Only then will it be possible to ascertain whether or not anyone was present inside.
