Jagadhatri actor Sayantani Ghosh on World Dance Day: “Dance has always been close to my heart”

Dance has always been one art form which has given people immense joy and happiness. While people do enjoy dance, very rarely they get vocal about their love for dance and the sheer joy they feel while dancing. Hence world dance day is one such day, where people share their thoughts and gratitude about how much they have enjoyed dance and the positive impact it has made on their life.

Jagadhatri actress Sayantani Ghosh who needs no introduction shares how along with acting, dance too has been something which she has enjoyed a lot.

Reflecting on how dance is an art form where you can express beautifully only with your actions, Sayantani shares, “While I have always been an actor, dance too is very close to my heart. It’s a beautiful reflection of culture, story and tradition. It fascinates me how dance can depict a story that too just with movements and you don’t require any words. The fact that I am a part of an industry where dance is such an integral part be it television, films or OTT, makes me happy that we actors also get chance to experience this beautiful art form often. On World dance day, I hope that everyone is blessed to feel what pure joy dance is.”

Along with Shivaay and Jagadhatri, audience is loving Maya for which Sayantani feels immensely blessed as Sayantani states that Maya may have her own flaws which are not in positive light but the one thing she loves about Maya is that she loves her family immensely which Sayantani really connects with.
