Delhi. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh will hold bilateral talks with Italian Defense Minister Guido Crosetto here on Thursday. The Defense Ministry said on Wednesday that various issues to defense cooperation between the two countries will be discussed during the meeting. Both countries also expect to share their views on regional and global issues keeping in mind the changing security scenario.
Defense cooperation between India and Italy has gained further momentum after the visit of the Defense Minister to Rome in October 2023. This first visit of Defense Minister Crosetto to India underlines the desire of both countries to further expand existing cooperation and explore new areas of cooperation, especially in the field of industrial partnership.
