Voting for the assembly elections in West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Assam, Kerala and Puducherry has been completed and now all eyes are on the results to be declared on May 4. The exit polls that came out on April 29 have further heated up the political atmosphere. Voting was held in Assam, Kerala and Puducherry on April 9, where elections were held on 126, 140 and 30 seats respectively. In Tamil Nadu, voting was held on 234 seats on 23 April, while in West Bengal, voting was held for a total of 294 seats on 23 and 29 April. Now after the exit poll figures have come out, speculations regarding government formation in all the states have intensified.
