IPL 2026 Purple Cap : The purple cap list of IPL 2026 has completely changed. In the 41st match of the Indian Premier League 2026, Sunrisers Hyderabad bowler Ishan Malinga has won the Purple Cap by taking just 1 wicket, leaving behind the experienced fast bowler Bhuvneshwar Kumar of Royal Challengers Bangalore. Along with this, Malinga also praised England pacer Joffra Archer who is making waves for Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2026. He has also left it behind.

Ishan Malinga captured the purple cap

Before this match, the purple cap was in the name of Bhavuneshwar Kumar. He took a total of 14 wickets in 8 matches. After them, Joffra Archer and Anshul Kamboj remained with 14-14 wickets. Ishan Malinga was also behind these bowlers with 14 wickets.
