The 13 Senior Resident positions at the PGIMER Satellite Center comprise 1 post each in Anesthesia, Biochemistry, Community Medicine, Internal Medicine, Medical Microbiology, Ophthalmology, Oral Health Sciences (Periodontics), Orthopedics, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT), Pediatrics, Pathology, Psychiatry, and Radiology. The vacancies comprise 5 positions for Senior Medical Officers and 6 positions for Senior and Junior Demonstrators across various departments. **What are the Eligibility Criteria?**
Applicants must possess qualifications relevant to the specific post applied for—obtained from any recognized institution or university—such as an MBBS, MD/MS, or an MSc/MA/MPH, accompanied by a PhD. Additionally, candidates may require an MA/MSc in fields such as Epidemiology, Biostatistics, MPH, Health Promotion, Health Education, Sociology, or Psychology, among others. Furthermore, candidates must possess the requisite qualifications, skills, and experience pertinent to the specific field associated with the post.
The maximum age limit for candidates has been set at 45 years, calculated based on the final date of application submission. However, candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted relaxation in the upper age limit in accordance with applicable rules and regulations.
Eligible candidates will be selected based on a multi-stage process comprising a Computer-Based Test (CBT), shortlisting, interviews, document verification, etc. Upon selection, the monthly salary for successful candidates will range between ₹35,400 and ₹67,700. In addition to the salary, selected candidates will also be entitled to various other benefits and allowances. The CBT is tentatively scheduled to be held on Saturday, May 22, while the interviews and document verification are scheduled to take place on June 23.
**Application Fee Details**
While filling out the application form, candidates are required to pay the prescribed application fee online, based on their respective categories. The fee has been fixed at ₹1,500 for General/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹800 for SC/ST candidates. However, candidates belonging to the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category are exempted from paying the registration fee.
