In a disturbing turn of events, two separate incidents have emerged from Jharkhand, causing widespread alarm. In Gumla, the lifeless bodies of an elderly couple were discovered in a locked room, sending shockwaves through the community. The deceased have been identified as 62-year-old Virsu Tirki and 58-year-old Virasi Tirki.
According to reports, the couple had dinner on Monday night and went to bed. When their door remained shut late into Tuesday morning, neighbors alerted the police. Upon breaking down the door, officers found the couple unconscious and rushed them to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead. The police are currently awaiting the post-mortem report to unravel the mystery surrounding their deaths.
A Daughter's Dark Turn
In a separate case from the capital city, Ranchi, a woman's death has been ruled a murder, revealing a shocking betrayal. Nahid Parveen was killed not by a stranger, but by her adopted minor daughter, who conspired with her boyfriend, Arbaaz Khan, and his friend, Sameer Khan. Initially, the daughter attempted to pass off the incident as an accident, claiming her mother had fallen in the bathroom.
However, suspicions arose, prompting the police to exhume the body in the presence of a magistrate. The subsequent investigation confirmed foul play, leading to the arrest of the boyfriend and his accomplice, while the minor daughter was sent to a juvenile home.
