From tomorrow, changes can be seen in the prices of LPG cylinders and the LPG delivery system. Apart from this, SBI has also changed the credit card rules, which will come into effect from tomorrow. Change in price of LPG cylinder
Like every month, on May 1 too, oil companies will decide new prices of LPG cylinders. The changes in these prices will have a direct impact on the household budget and hotel-restaurant expenses. Last month, both domestic and commercial cylinders became expensive and their prices may change again tomorrow.

Apart from the prices, major changes are also being made in the rules of cylinder delivery. According to reports, companies may change the cylinder booking deadline and OTP based delivery system may be made mandatory forever for security.
Change in price of ATF-CNG
From May 1, 2026, there may be a change in the prices of not only gas cylinders but also aviation fuel (ATF). Its prices had increased significantly in the beginning of April, which were later reduced, but new rates will be released again tomorrow.
Along with this, the prices of CNG used in vehicles and PNG used in homes can also change. This means that from tomorrow, everyone’s pockets, from those traveling by air to the common people driving cars and autos, may be affected.
There will be changes in credit card rules
SBI credit card rules are changing from May 1, 2026. Now a late payment charge of Rs 100 will be levied on the dues of Rs 100 to Rs 500 and Rs 500 on the dues of Rs 500 to Rs 1,000.
Also, the annual fee (Rs 499) of BPCL SBI card will now be waived off only if you spend at least Rs 1 lakh in a year, whereas earlier this limit was only Rs 50,000.
The rules of online gaming will change
From tomorrow, May 1, 2026, the government is also going to make major changes in the rules of online gaming. Online Gaming Authority of India (OGAI) will be formed under ‘Promotion and Regulation of Online Gaming Rules 2026’. The main work of this organization will be to monitor and regulate online gaming.
After the implementation of the new rules, games will be divided into three different parts, which include Online Money Games, Online Social Games and E-Sports. According to these rules which will be effective from tomorrow, registration will be mandatory for e-sports.

There will be long bank holidays
If you have any important bank work in the month of May, then before leaving home, definitely check the list of RBI holidays. Banks will remain closed for several days in May due to Labor Day (1 May), Buddha Purnima and weekly holidays.

These holidays may be different according to different states. However, even when the bank is closed, you can complete your work through online banking.
